Her dissertation research is on estimation of social costs of coal based electricity generation in Ohio using environmental valuation techniques, Geographic information science (GIS), and Ohio Market Allocation (OH-MARKAL) model. She worked for the government of Nepal in formulation and implementation of fertilizer trade deregulation policy and for the Public Utility Commission of Ohio on carbon foot print reduction of public buildings and renewable portfolio standards.
